Earth School. Living in tune with the cycles and season.

Saturday 21st September 2024

10am - 11.30am

Swythamley & Heaton Community Centre

Meet the founder, Natalie Blakeman and come along with your family to learn about cyclical living and how this can improve our sense of well-being and our connection to Nature.

Life can be busy and it’s easy to get caught in the trap of whizzing through the year, not really taking in the beauty of each season.

In this session we will learn about the Earth festivals of this land - 8 thresholds through the year that provide an opportunity to pause, take stock and celebrate! If you’re a family with older children, these are great times to regroup, and share what’s been achieved and what dream seeds there are for the future. And if you’re a family with younger children, this is a great way to get creative together and get outdoors noticing all the details as Nature waxes and wanes through the year.

There will be time sat in circle, time spent outdoors and time crafting something to take home that will be of use in helping your family stay in tune with the cycles and seasons.

This is an interactive, fun session for families with children aged between 5 and 16. Learning as a family group is a great way to strengthen bonds, discover new interests together and form your own think tank; discussing and exploring ways on how you can become a family of the future.
